Several Compassion-assisted child development centers near Wamena, Indonesia, have suspended normal activities due to civil unrest and violence.

The facilities hosting ID-406, ID-408, ID-410, ID-411, ID-412, ID-421, ID-422, ID-423 and ID-424 are suspending activities until conditions in the community improve. Currently, no information is available as to any Compassion-assisted families who have been affected.

Please pray for the safety of all beneficiaries, staff members and their families living in this area. And please pray also that the conflict will be peacefully resolved.
