Thank you so much for your willingness to help children in need by participating in Microsoft's matching gift program. Remember, matching your donation to Compassion with MS software is the best way to help more children in need.

To ensure your donation is processed correctly please make sure you have:

• A copy of Compassion's product wish list.
• A year-to-date summary of your giving through Compassion. (You can get this by logging into My Account.
• Your ZIP code – please use this as identifying information

Below are the steps you need to follow to complete your matching donation through Microsoft. If you have any questions on the matching gift process please e-mail Deana Horsman, Information Technology Asset Administration Specialist at Compassion. 1. Go to internal Microsoft Web site http://give.

2. Click on the Match Now button.

3. You are redirected to the Easymatch external Web site.

4. Click on "Submit a New Request" link.

a. In the "Method of your donation" box, choose the method by which you donated $ to Compassion.

b. In the box that says "Match my donation with" choose the "Product" option and click Next. 

5. If you have not donated to Compassion before, click on the "Search for a Charity link."

a. Type in "Compassion" in the Organization Name box and click the Find button.

b. Scroll down to "Compassion International Incorporated" and select it.

6. If you have donated to Compassion before, click the "Show charities I have previously designated."

a. In your list of previously designated charities, select "Compassion International Incorporated."

7. After having selected Compassion, you will be at the "Submit a New Request" page.

8. Enter the date of the gift. If you are combining several months worth of child sponsorship dollars, put in the most recent month date.

a. For example, if you are putting in for January, February, and March giving, put in 3/31/07.

9. Click on the "Add Product" button, which will open up a the "Product Lookup Page."

a. Enter in the Product name, based on the product you want to match, found at Compassion's wish list.

b. Select the product you wish to match and update the quantity.

c. Note the amount of product match donated needs to be less than or equal to the amount of money you donated to Compassion.
