Combined Federal Campaign

Giving to the Combined Federal Campaign

Yes! Compassion participates in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), a program that allows federal employees and military personnel to raise millions of dollars to benefit numerous nonprofit organizations, including Compassion International. Our CFC number is 10522.

When the campaign kicks off at your workplace, you will be provided with a pledge card. In order to donate to Compassion, simply write our Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) number (10522) in the space provided. Both the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) and the Christian Services Charities (CSC), our federation for Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), deduct fund-raising expenses before they distribute the funds raised in this campaign. Therefore, Compassion will not receive 100 percent of the money you donate through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). However, the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the only way for federal employees to take part in workplace giving and we know employees are strongly encouraged to take part in the campaign. For this reason, Compassion feels it is important that we offer you the option of contributing to us in this way.

If you sponsor a Compassion child, please note that gifts contributed through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) cannot be used toward monthly sponsorship. Since Compassion is not in control of exactly when we receive a Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) contribution, and because we do not receive 100 percent of the donation, it is not possible to allocate gifts given through Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) for sponsorship. Instead, the gift will go to the Partners of Compassion (POC) fund.
