Compassion’s mission to release children from poverty is about reversing this message.
Our vision is accomplished by empowering indigenous churches to focus on children, giving them opportunities to develop their full potential in every aspect of life — economically, socially, physically and, most important, spiritually. This “holistic development” approach, or ministry to the “whole child,” instills hope in children, sending a new message to their hearts: that they are beloved creations of God, and there is a real reason to believe that their future can be free from poverty.
