Mark Yeadon was born the fourth of 15 children in Chicago, growing up both there and in Indianapolis. After four years in the U.S. Air Force, he graduated from the University of Colorado with a major in accounting, and is currently finalizing a master's degree in global studies at the University of Denver.
Soon after his employment with Compassion began in 1984, Mark accepted a position in the South America area office and moved his family to Quito, Ecuador, where he served for three years as Associate Director of Operations and for four years as the Area Director for South America. In 1993, Mark accepted the position of Program Director at Compassion's Global Ministry Center and moved his family to Colorado Springs.
In his current position as Senior Vice President of International Program, he is responsible for providing the leadership of Compassion's program development and management worldwide.
