Laurie Polich Short

Laurie is a speaker, author, and associate pastor of Ocean Hills Covenant Church. She speaks at youth conferences, women's conferences, colleges and churches around the country. She is also a speaker for Compassion International.

Laurie is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary, and the author of several youth ministry books (listed under "books and resources"). She recently signed a contract for her latest title: "Finding our Faith in the Dark" (to be released by Zondervan in early 2014). Highlighting Laurie's own journey, her book is about how to find God in dark times, and how our response to our circumstances can make a difference in the way our story unfolds.

Laurie's speaking ministry spans the range of youth, college students and adults. While she uses personal stories and humorous illustrations to engage her listeners, she is most of all interested in what it means to be a real Christian in a real world- and encouraging others to do the same.
