Jimmy Sites

Jimmy Sites has been a long-time speaker for Compassion, having joined the team in 1991. He founded Second Mile Ministries, a nonprofit ministry that produces a weekly TV show called Spiritual Outdoor Adventures. He produces and hosts this award-winning program that broadcasts in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom, to 80 million households.

His mission is to give away the Heart of the Outdoors Bible to all viewers who call in and request one. Study guides for each episode are also available at no cost to the viewer. Many celebrities have joined this mission to spread God's Word to non-Christians.

Jimmy is on the staff of New River Fellowship in Franklin, Tenn., as a teaching pastor. He holds a B.A. in Bible from Harding University, a Master of Divinity from Harding Graduate School of Religion, and the Doctor of Ministry from Abilene Christian University.
