What does it mean to be a child advocate?
Being an advocate for children means you:
- understand God's mandate to help the poor;
- reflect on the needs of impoverished children in light of the Bible and culture;
- develop a deeper understanding of the significance of God's children in light of Scripture and theology;
- identify structures of poverty in communities and its destructive effects on children;
- understand God's deep and abiding love for children;
- develop Christian child advocacy programs and strategies in the wider context of the mission of the Church;
- communicate the need for child advocacy to others; and
