When you make a charity donation to Compassion, you can know that at least 80 percent will be used for programs to serve impoverished children. Child Survival Program

Each day, more than 30,000 children under the age of five die, stolen away by preventable causes such as malnutrition and disease. A charity donation to our Child Survival Program can help reduce such infant mortality. Our Child Survival Program educates mothers or primary caregivers before and after childbirth on how to properly nourish and care for infant children. If a young adult graduates from our Child Sponsorship Program and demonstrates strong Christian character as well as an outstanding academic performance, he or she has the opportunity to join our Leadership Development Program. This program gives young Christian men and women the chance to further their education in order to develop and enhance their leadership abilities.
