Children in poverty battle a daily struggle to live
Each day, hundreds of thousands of children in poverty go without food, water, health care and education. Nearly 27,000 of these children in poverty will die from hunger and diseases that can easily be prevented. Worst of all, children in poverty face each day with little or no hope that life can be different.
But many of these children in poverty now have an opportunity for a better life thanks to Compassion's Child Sponsorship Program. Simple things like writing letters to your sponsored child can restore hope, which is often the one necessity that children in poverty lack the most.
