Jesus Loves African Children

African children suffer in the most dramatic ways. But you can help them!

African Children Entitled to Heavenly Inheritance

African children are seen around the world as those who suffer most. African children must wrestle with the AIDS epidemic, effects of wars, homelessness and devastating poverty. Looking at the enormity of the poverty African children must endure, it may seem there's no way on earth that we can help them. But Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." So we know that African children have a heavenly inheritance. But what can we do for them now?

African Children Desire a Fruitful Life

African children who know about Jesus have a better opportunity for a fruitful life.

Founded by the Rev. Everett Swanson in 1952 after seeing how Korean children suffered from the effects of war, Compassion began providing food, shelter and health care to Korean children. Now African children are also receiving these benefits thanks to Compassion's Child Sponsorship Program.  Today, Compassion helps more than 1 million children — a third of them African children — in 25 countries.

African Children Need Your Help

African children need compassionate people like you to show them Jesus. For just $32 a month, you can sponsor one or more African children. It's one of the easiest ways to improve the lives of African children. Compassion is ready to match you with a child in need today. Learn more about sponsoring a child today.

African Children Benefit from Your Donations

African children must battle daily issues that most of us will never face. Help fight AIDS, malaria and other diseases that affect African children by making a tax-deductible donation to one of the many ministry programs that address the issues that plague African children.
