A child is hungry and no one cares, and one more voice is silenced.

An old man needs clothing and no one shares, and one more voice is silenced.

A scared, pregnant girl walks alone with her fears, and one more voice is silenced.

Will you be silent?

Why aren't we feeding the hungry?
Why aren't we clothing the naked?
Why aren't we comforting the afflicted?

Why are we silent?

Maybe we are ignorant of the need, maybe we just don't care.

Maybe we prefer the safety of greed, instead of sacrificing to share.

Maybe we have just forgotten how to speak out, after being silent so long.

No matter what the reason or excuse, staying silent is wrong.

Will you stay silent?

Or will you go back to life with your ipods and things, xboxes, playstations, and fun cell phone rings?

Focusing on yourself and nothing much more -- how infernal

Or instead put your mind on something eternal?

Time is wasting and we are asleep, Voices are ending and their fate we keep, So what say you?

Will you be silent?
