Help a Mom Toward a Safe Birth

Last year, 2 million babies died within the first 24 hours of life — often because a mom gave birth alone. Child Survival Program birthing attendants are trained to create a sterile, safe birth environment and deal with potential complications. Providing a skilled attendant is one of the most strategic ways to help save a mother’s — and baby’s — life. Vital prenatal visits will also be included.
