Raised in a diplomatic family of the U.S. Foreign Service, Chris developed a deep love for foreign travel, cultures and people at an early age. That early exposure to the world’s beauty, diversity and disparity marked Chris in a powerful way and paved the way for his service with Compassion.
Chris graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor’s in computer science and has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry, gained from a variety of global roles leading software development, sales, business development and strategic partnerships. Chris currently works with a global systems integrator as an alliance executive.
His other board experiences include serving on church boards and as a school trustee. Together with his wife, he has held church leadership roles in both couples and youth ministry.
Chris and his wife currently live in California. They have three adult children and two grandchildren.
