Sing Over Us
Jul 21, 2014
“The Lord your God is in your midst—a Warrior bringing victory. He will create calm with His love; He will rejoice over you with singing.” This promise from Zephaniah 3:17 is what inspired Compassion advocate and songwriter, Caitlin Jane, to pen the lyrics to “Sing Over Us” while in the Dominican Republic. After meeting her sponsor child, Wanda, for the first time, Caitlin began to see in a whole new light how God Almighty sings over His beloved, precious children. The song and brand new music video celebrate a journey of hope, dreams, and the unique relationship between sponsor and child, built through letters and prayers. Caitlin Jane is passionate about using music to share Compassion’s ministry and travels to churches around the country doing just that. She will be leading worship at the upcoming Experience Compassion Conference in Pennsylvania on Saturday, September 6th. You can view the “Sing Over Us” music video and hear Caitlin share the story behind the song!

Other Digital Platforms for Compassion Magazine
Jun 16, 2014
The award-winning Compassion Magazine takes us deeper into the world of children living in poverty three times each year through our colorful magazine format. Our digital version, launched in 2013, gives even more powerful ways to connect, including enhanced stories, photos and videos.
In May, advocates requested future digital platforms in addition to the iPad version. We are happy to announce that work is already underway for Android beginning with the Winter 2015 issue.
In addition, a special edition of Compassion Explorer Magazine for iPad has just gone live. Check out this test issue and rate it! We hope to offer this annually with enough interest.
