Jean-Francois Bussy, Limited Director - Switzerland

Jean-François Bussy was born in Versoix, Lake of Geneva, Switzerland.  He joined Compassion International's Board of Directors in June 2008, as a Limited Director representing Compassion Switzerland.  At a very young age, Jean-François felt God's call on his life for a specific ministry.  He attended Continental Theological Seminary in Brussels, Belgium, and graduated with a B.A, B.Th, and a minor in music.  After serving with the International Red Cross Committee and the Revival Church of Geneva, Jean-François started a church ministry in the nearby city of Nyon, where he is still acting as a senior pastor. He also started a missionary outreach and founded a church across the border of France. He teaches the Bible and the Christian faith in a major public high school in his city and serves the churches in Switzerland with his music ministry. Jean-François is an author and composer of music.  He has written over 300 songs, recorded 16 albums and many of his songs have been published in various denominational hymnbooks. He currently serves as the Board Chairman for Compassion Switzerland.
